What started as a simple frustration soon became a life-changing vision.

After moving from Galway, Ireland to Australia in 2010, Edel Duffy quickly realised that many of the Irish and UK beauty brands she had grown up with and loved simply weren't available in Australia. Every trip home meant filling suitcases with beauty products for herself, friends and family, and she knew she couldn't be the only one searching for a way to access these incredible brands.

That idea stayed with her for years, until in 2019 the light bulb moment finally arrived.

Drawing on her years of experience in the beauty industry, including running a successful national makeover studio, Edel knew beauty wasn't just a career, it was her passion. She began planning what would become Her Place Cosmetics, dedicating herself full-time to bringing the very best of Irish and UK beauty to Australian customers.

After months of research, planning and building relationships with brands, Her Place Cosmetics officially launched in 2021 with one clear mission: to make discovering exceptional international beauty brands effortless while creating a place that felt like home for the Irish and UK community living in Australia.

Today, Her Place Cosmetics proudly offers a carefully curated collection of over 500 premium beauty products from some of Ireland's and the UK's most loved brands.
